About the game
Saint-Roch, Normandy, 1944. The garrison still holds the village. Players have forty minutes to go in, take everything they can carry and get out alive. Everything they bring out is theirs to keep; everything they take in is on the line.
Over fifty furnished houses hide cognac, medals, silver and the odd painting or gold ingot. Riflemen, machine guns and scoped marksmen hold the streets, notice intruders slowly, hear them clearly, and take cover, flank and throw grenades. Wounds bleed until they are dressed, and nothing heals on its own.
Every raid draws its own hour, weather and ways out: the road, the supply train, a half-track, a resistance guide or a flare pickup. Squads of up to four can open their raid to another squad and share the village.
